Toll free helpline of Delhi government named Child Line |
- It is centrally managed by Don Bosco Society.
- It is an International Organization.
- It manages the toll free helpline of Delhi government named Child Line.
- It shelters 156 children and looks after their counseling, education, food, health etc.
Teams of our group will visit the Don Bosco campuses regularly.
The motives are: - Identify and profile the students based on their skills and needs.
- Build core teams in different 'subjects' (English, math, extra curricular, computers, hardware etc).
- To conduct refreshing activities like plays and sports events. We are planning to give away prizes during such events.
- When we have profiled the students and we have the same in a database, we can sponsor exceptional children in their own area of excellence.
- During our visits we ask the children whom we are interacting with for the first time to fill up the pre-designed forms (to know more about themselves).
- Note: Our first visit was on 7th October.
